Ethan leads TKWA’s Seattle studio. An exceptional designer, Ethan has the ability to find creative, cost-effective design solutions for a variety of building types. Significant projects include AIA COTE Top Ten Green Project Award-winning addition to Frank Lloyd Wright’s First Unitarian Society Meeting House in Madison, WI and the ZhongGuanCun Elementary School No. 3 in Beijing, China. Ethan has outstanding 3D modeling skills that efficiently and effectively engage clients in the design process. He has managed many projects, works internationally, spoken publicly, and works locally to transform his community.
Ethan believes it is his job to make better everything he touches. His designs become a harmonious dance between the earth and human life. Ready to contribute his creative expertise, Ethan is often called upon to incorporate diverse program needs, complex building requirements, sensitive context, and synthesize them into a cohesive, elegant, and sustainable design. He is involved in regenerative design and promotes wholeness both within the studio and throughout the architectural community.
